Setting up a hardware key

You can set up a hardware key as an authenticator for logging in. If you have a hardware key set up, you can use it to log in instead of your password.

Registering a hardware key authenticator

  1. Go to My account > Manage.
  2. Click Manage FIDO2/WebAuthn.
  3. Click Register new authenticator.

Register new authenticator Register new authenticator 4. Follow the instructions in your browser to confirm the registration of your new hardware key authenticator.
5. Now, you can use your hardware key to log in.

Renaming an authenticator

  1. Go to My account > Manage.
  2. Click Manage FIDO2/WebAuthn.
  3. Click the pencil edit beside the authenticator you want to rename.

Unregistering an authenticator

  1. Go to My account > Manage.
  2. Click Manage FIDO2/WebAuthn.
  3. Beside the authenticator you want to unregister, click Unregister authenticator.
  4. To confirm, click Ok. The hardware key is removed from your account.
