Installation of TeskaLabs LogMan.io Collector

TeskaLabs LogMan.io Collector runs on dedicated hardware or a virtual machine with network access to your LogMan.io installation.

Choose the installation method that best fits your infrastructure:

1. Installation from Virtual Machine image — import a pre-built VM image into your virtualization platform.

2. Installation into a prepared machine with a pre-installed OS — run the installation script on Ubuntu, Red Hat, or Oracle Linux.

3. Installation on the central LogMan.io server — deploy the Collector as a Maestro service from the Library.

4. Installation on a remote machine using Docker Compose — run the Collector container on a standalone host.

After installation, provision the Collector before configuring log sources.
